Scheduling and What to Expect
How soon can you come out?
Usually within the week. Late October through early December is our busiest stretch and can run longer, so book fall cleanings ahead if you can.
Do I need to be home?
No. We work entirely outside. We do need access to gates on both sides of the house, so let us know if anything is locked or if a dog is in the yard.
How long does it take?
Most single-story homes take under an hour. Two-story homes with real tree cover run one to three hours. Roof debris removal adds time.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain is fine and we work through it. Heavy rain or lightning and we reschedule — you will hear from us that morning rather than finding out when we do not turn up.
Do you work in winter?
Yes. Winter is often a good time here: the trees are bare, so what we clear stays cleared. We stop for ice on the roof or ladder.
What do you do with the debris?
It leaves the property. Not into the beds, not in a pile by the driveway, not over the fence.
Frequency and Timing
How often should Nashville gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year for most homes with mature trees — late spring after storm season, and late November to early December once the hardwoods have finished. Open lots with little overhang often manage on one.
Why late November and not October?
Because Middle Tennessee hardwoods drop over several weeks rather than all at once. Clearing in mid-October usually means paying to do it again.
Do I need a third visit?
If you have sweetgum, pine or heavy canopy directly over the roof, often yes. We will tell you honestly rather than sell you a schedule you do not need.
Is spring cleaning really necessary?
It matters more than people expect. March through May storms bring down green litter and small limbs, and that is when valleys pack.
Cost and Quotes
What does gutter cleaning cost in Nashville?

These ranges reflect typical Middle Tennessee homes and are a guide only, not a quote. The firm number comes after we have looked at the roofline.
Is the quote fixed?
Yes. Once we have seen the property the number does not move. If we find something genuinely unexpected we stop and talk to you first.
Do you charge for estimates?
No, and there is no obligation.
Why is one quote half the price of another?
Usually because one of them is not clearing the roof, not verifying downspouts at the discharge end, or not removing the debris. Those are the three corners that get cut.
The Work Itself
Do you clean the downspouts too?
Yes, on every standard visit — and we verify flow at the discharge end rather than just running water in the top.
Do you clear the roof as well?
On homes with real tree cover it is the sensible order, roof first. Clearing gutters under a loaded roof means the next storm refills them.
Will you damage my gutters with the ladder?
No. We use standoff stabilizers so the ladder never rests on the gutter. Ladder damage is one of the most common reasons we get called out to repair a dented section — usually caused by whoever cleaned it last.
Do you handle two-story homes?
Yes, and steep rooflines. We are equipped and insured for it.
Can you do repairs at the same time?
Usually yes for small things — resealing, hangers, refitting a downspout. It saves a separate trip charge and we quote it before touching anything. See gutter repair.
Do you clean gutter guards?
Yes. We service them and we do not sell them, which means we have no reason to tell you your system is failing when it is not. See gutter guard cleaning.
Trust and Practicalities
Are you insured?
Yes, general liability. A certificate naming your entity is available before the first visit — property managers usually want it on file and we send it without being chased.
What if I am not happy?
Tell us and we come back. No forms, no window, no conditions. If a downspout we cleared blocks again within a few weeks of a normal visit, that is on us.
Do you do gutter installation?
No, deliberately. We clean, maintain and repair. Not selling installations or guards means our advice about whether you need them is worth something.
